Dentures

We at Simplybright understand losing your natural teeth can be both distressing and damaging to your health. It could also affect your confidence in your smile as well as your ability to chew food or speak properly.

A denture is a removable appliance replacing missing teeth and gums helping to improve chewing ability and speech as well as enhance your appearance. Complete dentures are used to replace all the teeth however, when some healthy teeth remain, a partial denture can be used.

There are many different designs of dentures and our dentists at Simplybright will advice you on the best design for your smile.

Crowns and Bridges

Crowns and Bridges refer to the restorations of natural teeth that have been damaged, decayed or lost. A crown is usually placed because the remaining tooth structure is not capable of adequately supporting or retaining a regular filling. In addition, a crown will help hold together and support the remaining tooth structure, minimizing the chance that a tooth could fracture. Crowns are often recommended after a tooth has had root canal treatment in order to prevent tooth fracture and promote longevity.

Bridges are a fixed appliance used to replace a missing tooth or teeth to improve the look and function of your smile. There are many types of bridges available, and your dentist at Simplybright will advise you as to which type is most suitable for you in each case. Please contact your local branch for further information on crowns and bridges.

Endodontics (Root canal therapy)

If a tooth’s nerve becomes infected or damaged because of decay or injury, root canal treatment is often the only way to save your tooth.

Canal therapy is the removal of the nerve from inside the tooth and roots to remove pain and prolong the life of the tooth. The tooth is then disinfected and sealed to reduce the risk of infection. Root canal treated teeth are brittle, and therefore may need to be crowned to provide extra protection.

At Simplybright, we can provide the very latest technology for the root canal therapy using ultrasonic rotary equipment, which means that we are able to achieve predictable and successful results with the greatest efficiency.

Fillings

Fillings are required when the tooth structure becomes decayed or damaged creating a cavity in the tooth. The dentist will first clean the cavity and then rebuild the tooth with an appropriate material to protect the tooth and restore function. We offer a range of filling materials to suit your needs and preferences.

At Simplybright our dentists aim to be ‘minimally invasive’, meaning our dentists perform the least amount of dentistry required to restore teeth to their normal condition.

Implants

Dental Implants are a permanent method of replacing both the tooth and the root. Versatile, strong and natural-looking, dental implants can be used to replace one tooth, or a number of teeth. The result is better oral health due to an improved ability to bite and chew, enhanced aesthetics and improved speech.

Many of our clients who previously had dentures or bridges now come to Simplybright to be upgraded to Dental Implants. Please contact your local branch for further information.
